Carl F. Anderson
Attorney Carl Anderson was born and raised here in Rochester, Minnesota. He attended the University of Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education before returning to Minnesota to earn his Juris Doctor degree at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He gained experience as a Judicial Clerk in Rochester’s Third Judicial District and as a Partner and Associate Attorney at Rolsch and Anderson before opening Anderson Law in 2003. His heart has always been with the people Southeast Minnesota, which lead to the establishment of Anderson DiFiore PLLC to combine his wealth of experience with fresh perspectives to better serve the area he calls home.

Sherri L. Whalen
Attorney Sherri Whalen gained experience as an Assistant Public Defender in the Minnesota’s Third Judicial District before her time at Anderson DiFiore. She is admitted to practice law in Minnesota where she also grew up. Outside of work, Sherri also served on the Board of Directors at Rochester Better Chance House, a charity that provided youth from marginalized communities with scholarships and room and board to give them material support in chasing their dreams. She translated this passion to her legal areas of expertise.

Danielle DiFiore
Attorney Danielle DiFiore was born in New York City, and raised in South Florida. She graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and honors in both English Literature and Political Science. Following her undergraduate career, Danielle attended the University of Miami School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree. While in Florida, Danielle gained experience with the Broward County State Attorney, the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, and the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. Danielle also has an education background and has worked as a teacher/tutor specializing in teaching children who have learning differences.
Danielle joined Anderson Law Firm in March 2016. In July of 2022, Anderson Law Firm became Anderson DiFiore PLLC. As an attorney her practice is focused on family law and criminal defense. Danielle represents clients in all family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, maintenance, post-dissolution, stepparent adoptions, harassment restraining orders and orders for protections. She also represents clients in criminal defense matters ranging from misdemeanor to felony charges. Danielle has experience advocating for her clients both through litigation and engaging in various forms of alternative dispute resolution. She works hard to get positive results for her clients.

Brenda Benitez
Attorney Brenda Benitez grew up in Miami, Florida before attending law school in Connecticut. She then practiced in Connecticut for a few years before moving to Rochester, Minnesota. Her passion for legal work has always been client-centered as she values helping people through what is often the most difficult time in their lives. When she takes on a case, she is ready to advocate for her clients and provide them with her guidance and expertise. Her compassion helps her understand her clients’ need while her work in various areas helps her provide comprehensive support.
